Our Beijing and Tokyo Impressions program features an incredible journey to two Asia's most fascinating tourist destinations.  This tour is designed for travelers with limited time, offering six memorable nights to sample China’s magnificent ancient civilization in Beijing, followed by a sensational dose of modern-day excitement in Tokyo. With a harmonious mix of “East meets West”, each metropolis embodies its own distinctive flavor of dynamic city life, fine cuisines and vivacious entertainment.

In Beijing, you will have the opportunity to visit some of China’s legendary landmarks known to the world's most distinguished travelers. Our tour includes visits to the Forbidden City, the imperial palace for the Ming and Qing dynasties built in 1420; Ming Tombs, a group of mausoleums of 13 Ming Emperors, their Empresses and Concubines; the Summer Palace, a grand imperial palace and a royal garden of the Qing Dynasty built in the sixteenth century; Tian'anmen Square, the largest city square in the world and a symbol of New China; Temple of Heaven,  the largest temple compound and one of the most strictly protected and preserved cultural heritages of China; and of course, the magnificent Great Wall of China, the symbol of Ancient Chinese civilization built two millenniums ago.

Destination Tokyo,  one of the most vibrant and modern cities in the world.  Its contrasts between the old and the new, the traditional and modern makes Tokyo an exciting place for travelers to visit the world over. Your tour includes visits to the Imperial Palace Plaza, where Edo (old Tokyo) Castle once stood surrounded with stone walls and moats just east of Marunouchi; Tokyo Tower, the world's tallest self-supporting steel tower, 13 meters taller than its model, the Eiffel Tower of Paris; and Asakusa, a festive and quaint city, with the atmosphere of old Japan, that once thrived as a Senso-ji temple town during the Edo Period.
