This program features an incredible journey to three of China’s signature tourist destinations.  This tour is designed for travelers with limited time who wish to make to most of their trip to China. It offers our guests a unique opportunity to sample China’s most spectacular sites in just 8 days. Your expedition to China will include explorations to two of China's greatest ancient capitals, followed by a visit to one of the world's most modern and vibrant cities.

In Beijing, you will visit some of China’s legendary landmarks known to the world's most distinguished travelers. Our tour includes extensive sightseeing to Beijing's must-see attractions including the Forbidden City, Ming Tombs, The Summer Palace, Tian'anmen Square, Temple of Heaven, and of course, the magnificent Great Wall of China. Next, you will spend two memorable nights in Xian, the largest metropolis in northwestern China, a  beautiful  ancient capital  for over 1,060 years of 13 dynasties. During your visit, you will enjoy memorable visits to the Tomb of Emperor Qin Shihuang, home of the life-sized terra-cotta warriors; the Greater Wild Goose Pagoda; and the impregnable Xian City Wall.

Your tour concludes in Shanghai, the most modern, yet historically significant city in China. It is a world-renown shopping, gourmet and entertainment paradise that has the world at your fingertips.

TOUR ITINERARY:

Day 1. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to Park Plaza Beijing (Superior) OR Grand Millennium Beijing (Deluxe).

Day 2. Today's city tour includes the Forbidden City, the Summer Palace, the Temple of Heaven and Tiananmen Square. (B,L)

Day 3. A full-day tour to the Great Wall at Mutianyue and Cable Car Ride, followed by a visit of The Ming Tombs. This evening enjoy a traditional Peking Duck dinner followed by an awe-inspiring "Legends of Kung Fu" Performance. (B,L,D)

Day 4. Fly to Xian. Enjoy brief city sightseeing of Xian visiting the City Wall and City Museum before transferring to Shangri-la Golden Flower Hotel (Superior) OR  Shangri-la Xian (Deluxe). This evening, enjoy a stroll through the Night Markets at Muslim Quarters. (B)

Day 5. Full-day tour visits the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Terra Cotta Warriors Museum. This evening enjoy a Tang Dynasty dinner and cultural show. (B,L,D)

Day 6. Fly to Shanghai. Transfer to Renaissance Yu Garden (Superior) OR Swissotel Grand Shanghai (Deluxe). (B)

Day 7. Full-day tour visits the Old Town, Yu Yuan Garden, the Jade Buddha Temple and the Bund. This evening enjoy a dinner at a local restaurant followed by The Shanghai Acrobatics Show. (B,L,D)

Day 8. Transfer to the airport for your departure flight. (B)
