Our Beijing/Xian/Shanghai/Guilin land-only city module features an incredible journey to China’s signature tourist destinations. 

Your introduction to China begins with two of China's greatest ancient capitals -- Beijing & Xian, where our guests will experience first-hand a few of China’s legendary landmarks and national treasures including the Forbidden City, the Great Wall, Ming Tombs, and tomb of Emperor Qin Shihuang, home of the infamous Terra-cotta Warriors.

Next, touch-down at China's most vibrant metropolis, Shanghai, also the most modern, yet historically significant city in China. It is a world-renown shopping, gourmet and entertainment paradise that has the world at your fingertips. Then proceed to Guilin, where the region's picturesque scenery has inspired many Chinese poets and artists for centuries. Be prepared to be mesmerized by Guilin's scenic beauty as you embark on a riverboat journey along the Li River to the artistically inspired village of Yangshuo.

TOUR ITINERARY:

Day 1. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to Park Plaza Beijing Hotel (Superior) OR Grand Millennium Beijing (Deluxe).

Day 2. Today's city tour includes the Forbidden City, the Summer Palace, the Temple of Heaven and Tiananmen Square. (B,L)

Day 3. Enjoy a full-day tour to the Great Wall at Mutianyue and Cable Car Ride, followed by a visit of The Ming Tombs. This evening enjoy a traditional "Peking Duck" dinner followed by an awe-inspiring "Legends of Kung Fu" Performance. (B,L,D)

Day 4. Fly to Xian. Enjoy brief city sightseeing of Xian (time permitting) followed by transfer to Shangri-la Golden Flower Hotel (Superior) OR Shangri-la Xian (Deluxe). (B)

Day 5. Full-day tour visits the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Terra Cotta Warriors Museum. This evening enjoy a Tang Dynasty dinner and cultural show. (B,L,D)

Day 6. Fly to Shanghai. Transfer to Renaissance Yuyuan Hotel (Superior) OR  Swissotel Grand Shanghai (Deluxe). (B)

Day 7. Full-day tour visits the Old Town, Yu Yuan Garden, the Jade Buddha Temple and the Bund. This evening enjoy dinner at a local restaurant followed by the world-renowned Shanghai Acrobatics Show. (B,L,D)

Day 8. Fly to Guilin. Enjoy brief city sightseeing (time permitting) before being transferred to Shangri-la Guilin¹. This evening, enjoy an International Buffet Dinner at your hotel followed by a Cormorant Night Fishing Excursion (weather & local conditions permitting). (B,D)

Day 9. A full day tour takes you on a cruise down the Li River. Upon disembarkation, enjoy a stroll through the colorful artisan village of Yangshuo followed by sightseeing of nearby farms and villages amid spectacular countryside scenery. Includes lunch at a local restaurant. (B,L)

Day 10. Transfer to the airport for your departure flight. (B)
