fascinating journey to Borneo, the 3rd largest island in the world
situated in the western Pacific north of Java, largely covered by dense
jungle and rainforest. This five-day excursion gives our guests a

Your voyage begins in
Kuching, the capital city of the "Land of the Hornbill" has a charm
unlike any other Malaysian town. This is the place to head for if
you’re thinking of lazy strolls in market places, drinks by the
riverside, old world charm and some fine shopping. Next you will
overnight at
Kota Kinabalu, the capital of
Sabah
fondly known as KK, overlooking the South China Sea, and a
thriving city and commercial centre, with world-class resorts and a
popular tourist spot. Then, embark on an mystical expedition to
the world's largest orangutan sanctuary at Sepilok, set in 43
square kilometers of beautiful virgin rainforest where young orphaned or
captive orangutans are taught survival skills so that they may return to
their natural habitat.

TOUR ITINERARY:
Day 1.
Upon arrival in Kuching, transfer to the
Riverside
Majestic.
Day 2.
Today drive through the countryside to the longhouse community in Anah
Rais, where about 100 families live under one roof. (B)
Day 3.
Fly to Kota Kinabalu. Upon arrival, commence sightseeing of the city
before transferring to the
Shangri-la Tanjung Aru.

Morning flight to Sandakan. Upon arrival, proceed to Sepilok Orang
Utan Santurary where visitors
come face to face with the famed
Wildman of Borneo! Meet this remarkable creature in its natural
habitat as they learn to survive once more in the teeming jungles of
Borneo. A raised wooden walkway takes you to the observation deck
where orang utans slowly emerge from the rainforest to be fed by the
rangers. Take in panoramic views of Sandakan from the magnificently
adorned Buddhist temple, Puh Jih Shih. After lunch, pass-by water
villages before catching your flight back
to Kota Kinabalu. (B,L)
