GOLDEN TRIANGLE - CHIANG MAI - 5 days/ 4 nights (CCX)

Private Tour - daily departure

This tour features two of Thailand's most popular spots offering a heavy dose of the Kingdom's exotic culture and scenic beauty.

Chiang Rai is well known for its crisp mountain scenery, outdoors recreation and timeless hilltribes. Your introduction to this beautiful retreat begins with an invigorating excursion on the Mai Kok River, where visitors can admire Northern Thailand's alluring countryside aboard a long-tail riverboat and atop a giant elephant, followed by cultural visits to several of the region's timeless hilltribe villages. Then, a visit to the Golden Triangle takes you to a place where the borders of Thailand, Myanmar and Laos converge. While the words evoke images of scenic beauty -- shrouded hills, the mighty Mekong River, and tropical forests, this coined term is forever known for its opium production and drug trafficking, sourcing over half the world’s illegal heroin.

Next, embark on a scenic trip by road to one of Thailand's most majestic spots -- Chiang Mai, a city with a beautiful cultural personality blessed with majestic natural beauty. Our guests will enjoy a truly memorable experience to a local elephant camp, elephant rides and river rafting, followed by a visit to the infamous Chiang Dao Shrine Cave and a primitive hilltribe village that has endured the test of time.

Special discounted airfares are available for this tour -- contact us for details.
