JAPAN UNESCORTED PROGRAM (A) - 8 days / 6 nights  (JUA)

 

Tokyo  -  Daily Departure

This fascinating land of contrasts, an engaging combination of futuristic cities, ancient culture and stunning natural landscapes. Its contrasts between the old and the new, the traditional and modern, East and West, have lured millions the world over to this mystifying kingdom. Our Japan Unescorted program is an exciting and totally different concept designed for travelers who want to experience the best of Japan at their own pace.  Your tour includes a Japan Travel Aid (guide) on your first day in Tokyo to help you tailor-make your very own Japan expedition as well as to teach you all there is to know about traveling on your own in Japan.

  • Roundtrip air from the U.S. via All Nippon Airways

  • 6 nights accommodations at Grand Pacific Le Daiba

  • Full day "Walking Tour" of Tokyo by private guide

  • 1 lunch

  • Transportation within Japan per itinerary

  • All transfers upon arrival and departure by airport shuttle bus

 

 

TOUR ITINERARY:

 

Day 1. Depart North America

Fly via All Nippon Airways. Cross the International Dateline.

Day 2. Arrive Tokyo

Upon arrival, proceed to Grand Pacific Le Daiba by airport limousine bus for six nights accommodation.

Day 3. Tokyo

Meet your Japan guide for an orientation and walking tour by subway, learning how to explore and enjoy Tokyo unescorted. Lunch at a local restaurant. (L) ***Note: Entrance fees to tourist sites (where applicable) at passengers' own expense***

Day 4 to 7. Tokyo

You are free to explore this fascinating cosmopolitan city on your own. You can venture out of the city to Nikko or Hakone. Many optional tours (Nikko, Mt. Fuji, Kamakura, etc.) are available upon request. 

Day 8. Return Home

Transfer to Narita Airport by airport limousine bus for your flight home.
