TOUR
ITINERARY:
Day 1.
Guilin - Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to the
luxurious
SHANGRI-LA GUILIN.
Enjoy a welcome dinner at the hotel. (D)
Day 2.
Guilin / Caoping - After breakfast, start from Guilin to
Zhemu by bus (10km). Hike from Zhemu to Daxu (12 km) along the virgin part
of the majestic Li River, where there are no tour boats on this part
of river. Lunch and sightseeing at the Old Town
of Daxu. Afterwards, proceed to Xiong Cun by bus (5km), an old
village with busy rice farming, before reaching Caoping by bus.
Overnight at the MISTY RESORT. (B,L)
Day 3.
Caoping / Xingping -
Today's hike begins
with a 4-hour trek through the mountain roads to Xitang. On the way
you can see the other side of famous Crown Cave as well as the
source of the under ground river running into the cave. After lunch
at Xitang village, continue trekking for another 12km before
proceeding to Xingping by bus. Overnight at the MINGYUE HOTEL. (B,L)
Day 4.
Daxu / Yangti - After breakfast, begin the day by
crossing the Li River by ferry boat.
A fascinating 15 km
hike takes you the
a road less traveled, where tourists and even Guilin city folks are
rarely seen by the area's natives, touring through a fishing village
and mountain area with spectacular views of the Li River. Lunch
in the front gate of the Stone City, an unusual town where all of
its houses are constructed of stone as little clay can be found in
the region due to its rocky landform. After visiting the Stone
Village, depart for Yangshuo, a
bustling little artisan village lined with art galleries,
restaurants and cafes.
Overnight at the
YANGSHUO PARADISE
HOTEL. (B,L)
Day 5. Yangshuo -
After breakfast, switch gears and soak up Yangshuo's beautiful
countryside by biking around this beautiful region through rice
fields and local villages. The day's bike excursion includes
an invigorating ride along the Yulong River, followed by a visit to Moon Hill and Big Banyan Tree.

Day 6. Yangshuo / Guilin -
After
breakfast, depart for Beisha by bus. Enjoy a fantastic 35 km bike
trip to Liutang; Lunch in Liutang and visit one of the biggest
market in Guangxi, where visitors can witness the day in the life of
the traditional farmer. Return to Guilin by bus. Overnight at the
SHANGRI-LA GUILIN.
Day
7. Depart Guilin -
Transfer to the airport for your departure flight. (B)
