TOUR
ITINERARY:
Day 1.
Depart Kuala Lumpur early today and drive to Cameron Highlands.
Enroute visit Selim River and Tapah, Iskandar Waterfalls, an
aboriginal village and a tea plantation. Overnight at the
EQUATORIAL
HILL RESORT. (L)
Day 2.
Drive through Perak and the fruit-growing regions. Visit Kellie's
Castle, a Lime-stone Cave Temple and the Ubadiah Mosque. Cross Asia's
longest bridge to Penang. Accommodations at
PENANG PARK ROYAL. (B,L)
Day 3.
A morning tour visits Snake Temple, Kek Lok Si, Fort Cornwallis and
Chinatown. After lunch, balance of day is at leisure. (B,L)
Day 4.
Travel today to Malaysia's East coast. Visit a rice field in Kedah and
enjoy lunch at Grik town. Cross the central mountain range and arrive
Kelantan, and its capital, Kota Bahru. Overnight at the
PERDANA. (B,L)
Day 5.
This morning visit a handicraft center, then head south to Kuala
Terengganu for lunch. Overnight at the
PRIMULA BEACH RESORT. (B,L)
Day 6.
Today drive through the National Park and stop at a weaving center and
fishing village enroute to Kuantan. Overnight at the
HYATT REGENCY. (B,L)
Day 7.
Drive south today through Pekan, to Johore and the fishing town of
Mersing. Continue through rubber and oil plantations to Johore Bahru.
Cross the border into Singapore, where the tour ends. (B,L)
