TOUR ITINERARY:

Day 1. Nakorn Phanom

Upon arrival in Nakorn Phanom, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.  Lunch will be served at a local restaurant along the Mekong River.  After lunch, explore the Namorn Phanom town center.  Walk down the riverfront to the Indochina market.  Explore other sites, including the century-old city hall, Ho Chi Minh’s house, Chaiburi and Si Songkram River.  Take a riverboat ride to the mouth of the river.  Enjoy dinner at a seafood restaurant.  Overnight at the NAKORN PHANOM RIVERVIEW HOTEL. Day 2.  Nakorn Phanom

Before breakfast, take part in “Tak Baht”, a traditional merit making in the local style.  Return to hotel for breakfast.  Visiting the Thad Phanom Temple.  Continue to Ban Nong Hoi Yai.  Lunch at a local riverside restaurant in Mukdaharn.  Stop in Ban Panna.  Rest of the day at leisure.  Dinner at the resort in Khong Jiam. Overnight at the TOHSANG KHONG JIAM RESORT. (B,L,D)

Day 3: Khong Jiam / Ubon Ratchathani

This morning’s tour includes a visit to Pha Taem National/Historical Park and Ban Goom, where you will enjoy a ride on a Mekong riverboat.  Lunch will be taken aboard a floating “raft restaurant” at Khong Jiam.  Then continue the Laos border Market at Chong Mek.  Dinner at the hotel. (B,L,D)

Day 4: Khong Jiam / Ubon Ratchathani

Drive to Cambodian Border.  Visit Khao Phra Viharn Khmer temple and Maw-I-Daeng cliff carvings.  Lunch will be in Kantaralak.  In the afternoon, explore a number of city sites in Ubon, and the National Museum #8.  Transfer to the airport for your departure flight to Bangkok.  (B,L)
