This program features an unforgettable Safari Expedition to Royal Chitwan National Park, one of the Nepal's greatest treasures of natural wonders. The park is situated in south central Nepal, covering 932 sq. km. in the subtropical lowlands of the inner Terai. The area comprising the Tikauli Forest - from Rapti River to the foothills of the Mahabharat. In 1963, the area south of Rapti River was demarcated as a rhinoceros sanctuary, home to a remaining few One Horned Asian Rhinoceros and one of the last refuges of the Bengal Tiger. Recognizing its unique ecosystems of international significance, UNESCO declared RCNP a World Heritage Site in 1984.

Activities featured on this unforgettable journey include elephant safari's, boat trips, jungle treks, bird watching excursions, and expeditions by Land Rover. Our experienced and knowledgeable naturalists will introduce you to the fantastic array of flora and fauna in the park, including the Greater One Horned Asian Rhinoceros, deer, sloth bear, leopard, crocodile, 450 species of birds and the elusive and elusive Royal Bengal Tiger.

TOUR ITINERARY:

Day 1. Upon arrival at Meghauly, you will be met and transferred to GAIDA WILDLIFE RESORT OR TIGER TOPS LODGE. Welcome briefing by the Camp Manager followed by a slide show of the jungle and animals. Dinner at the camp. (D)

Day 2. Early morning elephant safari. Return to the Lodge for breakfast. Later, enjoy a jeep and boat safari to view the spectacular wild life. Overnight at the resort. (B,L,D)

Day 3. After breakfast, transfer to Meghauly airport for your departure flight. (B)
