TOUR ITINERARY
Day 1. Arrive Bali -
Upon arrival, be met and transferred to Grand
Hyatt Bali.
Day 2. Interior Trekking -
This trek commences in a region of natural hot springs spawned by
Bali’s rich volcanic history in the most fertile landscapes in the
foothills of Mt. Batukaru. This trek offers a glimpse into the vast
variety of rural life as well as the intricate system of irrigation
and rice farming. (B,L)
Day 3. Jimbaran /
Candidasa - Drive through south coast to the
village of Kastala where we commence our trek, crossing a small
river and walking through rice fields with an opportunity to
watch the local farmers at work. Afterwards, discover
the village of Gumung and hike our way down to Tenganan.
Overnight at the
Alila Manggis Resort. (B)
Day 4. Candidasa / Ubud - Your day begins with a
visit to Tenganan, one of the original Bali "Aga"
villages where traditions have changed little over the centuries.
After lunch, journey along the south coastal road to reach Goa
Lawah (the bat cave), then continue to Kertagosa, the hall of justice
in Klungkung that dates from the 18th century. Finally, proceed to Ubud with a
stop at Goa Gajah (elephant cave) in Bedulu. Overnight at
the Alila Ubud Resort. (B,L)
Day 5. White-Water Rafting - Start
the day with an experience the white water rafting and feel the spirit
of adventure on Ayung River Ubud. (B,L)
Day 6. Jungle Trekking - Drive through the mountains to the start point of hike.
Emerge from the jungle to unrivalled views of Lake Tamblingan,
then traverse the impassable shore by traditional dugout canoe.
After lunch, drive back to Grand
Hyatt Bali. (B,L)
Day 7. Depart Bali - Transfer to the airport for tour
departure flight
