Any cancellation received on day of departure or en-route will be subject to full forfeiture of all monies paid on any program. There is no refund for unused land services. Any voluntary alterations of confirmed itineraries before departure will require a handling charge of $50 for each change.

DOCUMENTATION

It is the responsibility of passengers to see that proper documentation is obtained in advance of the trip. A passport valid for a minimum of 6 months is required of all nationals. In addition, visa for China, India, Nepal, Indochina, Myanmar and Mongolia are required of American Citizens. Other nationals should check with our reservations specialist regarding visa requirements. Explorient Travel Services, Inc. can obtain visa for the People's Republic of China when included in the program for $115 per person. Booking made less than 30 days will require a rush China fee of $150 per person.

HEALTH REQUIREMENTS

Currently none of the countries included in the itineraries require a certificate of vaccination. However, this is subject to change at any time. Please check with our reservations specialist to ascertain which, if any, countries in the tour require proof of any inoculation. It is the passenger's responsibility to take all precautions with regard to health regulations.

TRANSPORTATION

Air transportation is based on round-trip economy class travel on airlines specified in each program. Transportation within China is arranged locally. Airfares are not refundable once air transportation has begun.

BAGGAGE

Baggage is at owner's own risk throughout the tour. Baggage allowance on trans-Pacific flights is two (2) pieces of checked in baggage. For flights within the Orient and China, baggage may not exceed 44 lbs or 20 kilograms. Excess baggage charges are strictly enforced and it is the responsibility of the passenger to pay these charges at the airport.

HOTELS

All hotel accommodations will be provided in hotels mentioned or of similar category. Explorient Travel Services, Inc. reserves the right to substitute hotels of similar category whenever necessary. All rooms are randomly assigned by each hotel on a run-of-the-house basis.

SIGHTSEEING, TRANSFERS PORTERAGE AND TIPS

All sightseeing and transfers (except in Japan) will be conducted in air-conditioned private motorcoaches when there are 15 or more passengers. For less than 15 passengers scheduled (seat-in-coach) sightseeing and transfer services may be used. In Japan, transfers will be by limousine bus, public transportation or taxi. Transfers include the handling of one piece of standard size luggage per person. Only those passengers traveling on designated group flights will be provided with airport transfers. Tips to guides and drivers are not included and are mandatory.

TOUR DIRECTORS AND LOCAL HOSTS

For China series tours, when there are 15 or more individual tour members, the services of an Explorient Travel Services tour director will be provided. For less than 15 passengers, the tour will be locally hosted. All other tour programs are locally hosted.

HANDLING CHARGES

All rates quoted include handling charges imposed by Explorient Travel Services, Inc. All rates published include the costs of communications, financial transactions, preparation and distribution of passenger documentation and promotional costs of these programs.

LAND AND AIR COST

All land and air costs are in U.S. dollars and based on tariffs, rates of exchange, costs and schedules in effect Nov. 1, 2006 and are subject to change without notice. Any fluctuation of currencies could result in a higher land cost. In any case, no surcharge will be imposed after final tour payment received. The land & air price includes hotel accommodations based on two people sharing a room, round-trip economy class airfare, transfers and sightseeing as specified in each itinerary.

NOT INCLUDED

Tour prices do not include meals unless specifically indicated in the itinerary, service charge for obtaining visas, foreign airport departure taxes and items of a strictly personal nature.

RESPONSIBILITY

Explorient Travel Services, Inc. gives notice that it is acting only in the capacity of agent in all matters regarding travel, whether by railroad, motorcoach, motorcar, boat or airplane, including all matters of reservations, transportation and tour operation, and assumes no liability for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be caused either by reason of defect in any vehicle, or through the act or default of any company or person engaged in conveying the passenger, or in carrying out the arrangements of the tour(s), or otherwise. We can accept no responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delay or changes in air or other services, sickness, weather, strike, war, quarantine or other causes or acts of God. Although Explorient Travel Services, Inc. anticipates no changes in the itineraries or accommodations, etc. as printed herein, the right is reserved to make any changes with or without notice that might become necessary in the best interest of the tour. In such cases any additional expenses must be borne by the passenger. The right is also reserved to withdraw any tour announced in this program and to substitute hotels if necessary. Explorient Travel Services, Inc. reserves the right to decline, accept or to retain any person as a member of any tour at any time.

The airlines concerned are not held responsible for any act, omissions or event during the time passengers are not on board their planes or conveyance. The passage contract in use by the airlines concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the airlines and purchaser of these tours and/or passenger. Any and/or all transportation companies herein mentioned shall have or incur no responsibility or liability to any travel aside from their liability as common carriers. All fares shown by the airlines are subject to change at any time without notice, and land costs are based on present value of foreign currencies in relation to the U.S. dollar, and in current tariffs, and are subject to adjustment (either way) until time of final payment by passenger. Explorient Travel Services, Inc. is in no way responsible for faulty, inferior or non delivery of any items purchased by tour passengers during their trip.
