Starting in Beijing, we get up close and personal with some of the planet’s most spectacular landmarks known to mankind. Day 1 Depart North America
Depart USA for Beijing via All Nippon Airways, connecting in Tokyo.
Day 2 Beijing
Upon arrival, and after immigration and customs, be met and transferred to your hotel.
Day 3 Beijing
Today, visit the spectacular Mutianyu section of the Great Wall with cable car ride. After lunch at a local restaurant, return to Beijing City and enjoy a tour of its Old Quarters (Hutongs) by rickshaw, visiting a local family residence and the Bell & Drum Tower. This evening, enjoy a fabulous Peking Duck dinner at the exclusive Dadong Restaurant, followed by a breathtaking Legends of Kung Fu Show. (B,L,D)
Day 4 Beijing
Today’s full-day tour includes the Forbidden City, Summer Palace, the Temple of Heaven and Tiananmen Square. Lunch is served at a local restaurant. (B,L)
Day 5 Beijing
Full day free at leisure to shop and explore Beijing on your own. (B)
Day 6 Beijing / Tokyo
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Tokyo. Upon arrival and after clearing Customs and Immigration, be met and transferred to your hotel by reserved private taxi for your next 3 nights’ accommodations. (B)
Day 7 Tokyo
Today, enjoy a full-day walking tour of Tokyo accompanied by your private guide (using public transportation). Visits include Tsukiji Outer Fish Market, Meiji Shrine, Asakusa Kannon Temple and its colorful Nakamise Shopping Arcade, and the Tokyo SkyTree for a bird’s eye view of the world’s most populous city. Day 8 Tokyo
Full day free at leisure to explore Tokyo on your own. (B)
Day 9 Return Home
Transfer to the airport by private taxi for your departure flight home. (B)
