TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1. Kuala Lumpur / Kuala Tembeling / Taman Negara
Morning departure from Kuala Lumpur by road for Kuala Tembeling (approx. 3 hours). After a short break, travel up the Tembeling River by motorized boat, passing through the rubber plantations and Malay villages before arriving at Taman Negara Resort. Balance of the afternoon at leisure. After dinner at the resort, enjoy a short orientation by the Park Rangers followed by a guided night jungle walk to observe the sights, sounds and wildlife in the rainforest. (D)

Day 2. Taman Negara
Breakfast at the lodge. Enjoy a morning trek to Teresek Hill. Highlights of the trek includes the famous “Canopy Walk”, the longest tree top suspension bridge in the world spanning 500 meters in length and up to 45 meters high, for a bird’s eye view of the jungle. After lunch, board a longboat for the beautiful cascading waterfalls of Lata Berkoh. Enjoy swimming at the fall or simply soak up nature at its best. Return your resort where dinner is served. Day 3. Taman Negara
This morning, enjoy Rapids Shooting through seven sets of mild rapids from Kuala Tahan to Kuaal Trenggan. Conditions permitting, visit an indigenous tribal village of Orang Asli, a.k.a.,  the original inhabitants of the jungle who still live a semi nomadic life, hunting and gathering lifestyle, within the park. Their settlements are along some of the forest trails or by the rivers. Returning to your resort and enjoy the balance of the afternoon at leisure. Dinner and accommodations at Mutiara Taman Negara Resort. (B,L,D)

Day 4. Taman Negara / Kuala Tembeling / Kuala Lumpur
After an early breakfast, transfer to Kuala Temeling Jetty by join river boat followed by an overland journey by private car back to your hotel (not included in package) in Kuala Lumpur.  (B)
