Day 1 Depart North America
Depart via Cathay Pacific Airways for Bangkok, connecting in Hong Kong.
Day 2 Bangkok
Upon arrival, after clearing Customs and Immigration, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
Day 3 Bangkok – Grand Palace & River of Kings
This morning’s tour visits the Royal Grand Palace, Golden Cheddi, the Pantheon of Kings and the Emerald Buddha with a boat excursion along the “Klongs” of the Chao Phraya. This evening enjoy a dinner cruise along the “River of Kings” on board the Grand Pearl. This evening, enjoy dinner at your hotel. (B,D)
Day 4 Bangkok – Floating Market
Breakfast at the hotel. Today’s tour takes you to the world renown Floating Market where for over a hundred years, villagers transport their agricultural products by canals to the center of trading at Damnoen Saduak. This incredible network is a labyrinth of almost two hundreds branched canals lined with ancient Thai wooden houses and colorfully decorated by small wooden boats that contain fresh fruits and vegetables. Return to Bangkok in the afternoon and enjoy the balance of the day at leisure.
Later this evening, enjoy a Night Foodies Tour by Tuk Tuk. This exciting tour visits famous eateries around the city sample local street foods such as Khao Man Gai (Chicken & Rice), Pad Thai or Guay Tiew Kua Gai (Chicken Noodle Soup). Explore the Flower Market followed by a local temple before returning to your hotel by midnight. (B,D)
Day 5 Bangkok – Ayuthaya
Today, visit the glorious ruins of this Ancient Capital of Ayuthaya, situated 90 Kms north of Bangkok. Also visit the “Bang-Pa-In” Summer Palace of King Rama IV with its charming mixture of Thai, Chinese and gothic architecture. Enjoy a river boat cruise en-route to Bangkok with International buffet lunch on served board. (B,L)
