A Private Malaysia Tour of Fun & Food – Penang
4 Days / 3 Nights – Tour Code (PEN) – Land Only – Private Tour – Departs Daily
Penang’s fame for being the ‘Pearl of the Orient’ began when it became the first British trading post in the Far East in 1786. Because of its geographical location, it made an ideal settlement for the travelers on the spice route, which explains its rich heritage. Today Penang offers a unique blend of the East and West in its trendy restaurants, sidewalk cafes and hawker stalls.
Georgetown, the lovely capital of Penang, is a bustling metropolitan city that from its earliest foundations has produced a unique blend of Eastern and Western cultures. This is truly an island resort in full swing, with an abundance of fine hotels, colorful night markets and all-night restaurants – the ideal destination for “sun worshippers” who gain pace as the sun goes down! Penang embraces the charm of a tropical island; sea and sand sparkling under sun filled skies, a brilliant blue horizon shimmering in the distance, breathless sunrises and heart-stopping sunsets. The stunning landscape and exotic sites have made it one of the most popular destinations in the region. Once again, this wonderful island is a kaleidoscope of color, festivity and cuisine.
