TOUR ITINERARY
Day 1. Arrive Bali/Ubud
Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your resort in Ubud.
Day 2. Ubud (Lake Beratan, Mengwi, Jatiluwih)
Today’s full day tour features journeys through the interior of the island. Your excursion begins with a drive to the small town of Mengwi. Long associated with the Balinese Royal Family, Mengwi is home to the superb temple complex at Taman Ayun. Continue north to Bedugul Regency, renowned for its stunning beauty and three caldera lakes (Beratan, Buyan and Tamblingan). Visit the market at Candi Kuning before arriving at the iconic Ulun Danu Temple, a 7th Century Hindu water temple located on a small jut of land within the calm waters of Lake Beratan. After lunch, journey south the spectacular rice terraces at Jatiluwih en route. A UNESCO site, these seemingly endless rice paddies offer superb vistas in all directions. Enjoy time for a leisurely hike through the terraces before returning to your resort. (B,L)
Day 3. Ubud Day at leisure. Stroll around the charming artisan villages in Ubud and its spectacular art galleries. Optional tours (Balinese cooking lesson, white water rafting, rice terrace trek, sunrise volcano hike, local villages tour by bicycle, etc.) are available upon request. (B)
Day 4. Depart Bali
Transfer to the airport for your departure flight. (B)
