12 Days / 11 Nights – Tour Code (chs) – SEMI PRIVATE TOUR- departs Daily
This awe-inspiring Chile tour boasts 12 unforgettable days of sensory overload sporting a dazzling array of out-of-this-world panoramas and uncommon adventures. On this tour, you will catch glimpse of the places that make Chile one of the world’s ultimate bucket-list destinations – the desert of San Pedro de Atacama, the glaciers of Patagonia, the wine country of Colchagua Valley, and the chic Chilean capital of Santiago.
Your introduction of Chile begins with Santiago, a modern metropolis of sophisticated cosmopolitan vibes dotted with impressive 16th century Spanish colonial architecture and shimmering skyscrapers surrounded by the breathtaking Andean mountain range. Experience modern-day Chilean life as you stroll, people-watch and eat your way through the city. Then, journey north to the driest place on Earth to San Pedro de Atacama. Soak up spectacular landscapes like nowhere else on the planet like the famed Moon Valley, Tatio Geysers and Rainbow Valley. We’ll also visit local villages to observe the indigenous communities’ timeless traditions and simplistic way of life. After a few days in the desert, it’s time for some hydration! We spend a couple of days in Colchagua Valley, Chile’s iconic wine country where some of the finest wines are produced. Here, enjoy some R&R visiting several of the region’s top wineries while immersing yourself in the Chilean countryside.
We end the trip with yet another dramatic change in topography in Chile’s famed Patagonia. Located in the southern-most region of Chile, Patagonia rewards the traveler with jaw-dropping panoramas that quickly remind us how insignificant mankind really is. Your Patagonian adventure takes a deep dive into Torres del Paine National Park, a UNESCO World Biosphere, where you and nature become one. Feast your eyes and feed your soul as you bear witness to stunning landscape amid craggy mountains, glistening Lakes and amazing wildlife; choose from an array of inspiring excursions that will no doubt leave a lifetime of memories; and relax by night at one of the region’s finest lodges.
From mouthwatering street food to fine Chilean wine, brilliantly colored desert rocks to mind-blowing glaciers, bucket-list treks to unforgettable sunsets. Chile offers a glimpse of untamed Mother Nature uninterrupted by mankind.

Day 4 San Pedro de Atacama (Rainbow Valley & Atacama Salt Flats)
Today’s exciting program begins with a drive through the Domeyko hills famous for its prehistoric rock art and dramatic desert tones. Visit Yerbas Buenas, an area of great historical importance due to its prehistoric rock art, one of the most important groups of petroglyphs constructed by the indigenous people in the region. Its red, green, white, yellow, brown and earth colored tones combine with the blue sky and the white salt flats to create a truly unique setting. Next, visit the impressive Atacama Salt Flats, a surprisingly large and arid landscape stretching 100 km from north to south. At nearly 13,000 ft above sea level, Tatio comprises 70 geysers with pools of boiling water spurting vapor. In the early mornings, visitors are rewarded with a beautiful contrast of colors between the intensely blue sky and the pristine vapor from the geysers while enjoying breakfast in the picturesque setting. On our way back to San Pedro de Atacama, stop at the village of Machuca, an Atacameño village of just 20 houses built from clay, straw and cactus wood.
