TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1. Arrive Bali
Upon arrival, be met and transferred to Nusa Dua Beach Resort OR Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort.

Day 2. Interior Trekking 
Morning at leisure to relax and enjoy the sun and surf. This afternoon, enjoy sightseeing of the Royal Temple at Mengwi, Monkey Forest at Sangeh, and the sacred “floating Temple” of Tanah Lot. (B)

Day 3. Nusa Dua / Candidasa
Drive through south coast to the village of Sidemen in East Bali where we commence our trek, crossing a small river and walking through rice fields with an opportunity to watch the local farmers at work. This is a very good trek for those looking to experience a mixture of mother nature and local the exotic Balinese way of life. Continue to the village of Muncan before lunch at a local restaurant boasting spectacular views of rice fields and Mt. Agung. Continue to Candidasa and check-in at Alila Manggis Resort for your overnight accommodations. (B,L)

Day 4. Candidasa / Ubud
Your day begins with a visit to Tenganan, one of the original Bali “Aga” villages where traditions have changed little over the centuries. After lunch, journey along the south coastal road to reach Goa Lawah (the bat cave), then continue to Kertagosa, the hall of justice in Klungkung that dates from the 18th century. Finally, proceed to Ubud with a stop at Goa Gajah (elephant cave) in Bedulu. Overnight at the Pita Maha Resort OR Komaneka at Monkey Forest Resort. (B,L)

Day 5. Ubud (Whitewater Rafting)
Today experience the thrill of whitewater rafting on the Ayung River. The approximately two-hour long water adventure thru thirty-three Class II & III rapids as you rush past the untamed rain forest, towering gorges and magnificent rice terraces. Enjoy the picturesque scenery along the way and end the action-packed morning with a hot shower followed by a delicious buffet lunch overlooking majestic mountains and rice paddy fields. Return to your resort and enjoy the balance of the afternoon at leisure. (B,L)

Day 6. Ubud (Jungle Trekking)
Today’s excursion begins with a drive north to Bedugul Regency (district), part of the island’s central highlands region renowned for its stunning beauty and three caldera lakes (Beratan, Buyan and Tamblingan). The first stop is the iconic Ulun Danu Temple. This important Hindu Shivaite water temple is located on a small jut of land within the calm waters of Lake Beratan. If the water level is high (during rainy season only) it gives the illusion that this 17th century temple is ‘floating’ on the lake. Afterwards, embark on a gentle trek through the tropical rainforest. Admire the flora and fauna and take in the clean, mountain air as you hike through a region that has remained at one with nature for many centuries. Reaching the shore of the lake after approximately one hour, you will continue your journey by boat in a traditional dug-out canoe. Return to your resort in Ubud. (B,L)

Day 7. Depart Bali
Transfer to the airport for tour departure flight onward. (B)
