Our River Kwai Adventure offers active enthusiasts yet another remarkable way to experience the magic of the Far East. It features an invigorating expedition to the majestic River Kwai. Here, you will have chance to set foot on the reputed “Bridge on River Kwai” built by Allied POWs during World War II, ride on an original Death Railway Train, jungle-trek on an elephant’s back, and enjoy bamboo rafting through the rapids along Kwai Noi River.

TOUR ITINERARY
Day 1. Arrive Bangkok
Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
Day 2. Bangkok
Enjoy a private morning tour by boat along the ‘River of Kings’, and its quiet canals. Also visit Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn), and the Royal Palace to see Dusit Hall and the Emerald Buddha. Enjoy the afternoon at your leisure. (B)
Day 3 Bangkok / Death Railway / River Kwai
This morning will be an early start. We’ll travel outside Bangkok’s hustle and bustle to the countryside to Kanchanaburi. Our first visit of the day is the infamous Bridge over the River Kwai, a part of Death Railway constructed by Allied POWs in World War II. Continue to enjoy an experiential train 2-hour ride along the famous Death Railway that meanders runs through the rock-cutting passage over the wooden viaduct constructed by Allied POWs at Namtok Station. After lunch, visit the Hellfire Pass, a section of the Thai-Burma Railway where POWs constructed during the war. Continue by long-tailed boat to your floating resort where dinner will be served this evening. (B,L,D)
Day 4 River Kwai (Erawan Falls & River Rafting)
Morning drive to Erawan National Park famed for its 7-tier waterfall and emerald-green ponds. Start trekking along the nature trail up to the waterfall surrounding in splendid nature and deciduous forests. Take a glimpse of wild monkeys and bird and appreciate the patterns and shapes of the tropical forest with its various formations. Enjoy relaxing and swimming in the pond before lunch at a local restaurant. Afterwards, continue to The Jungle Rafts by long–tailed boat for a 40-minute downstream raft trip to your resort. Dinner will be served at the resort this evening. (B,L,D)
Day 5. River Kwai / Bangkok
Return to Bangkok where civilization awaits. Check-in at hotel and enjoy the balance of the afternoon at leisure to eat, shop and explore the city. (B)
Day 6. Depart Bangkok
Transfer to the airport for your departure flight onward. (B)
