Your introduction to China begins with Beijing, where you will visit some of China’s legendary landmarks known to the world’s most sophisticated travelers. Our tour includes visits to the Forbidden City, the imperial palace for the Ming and Qing dynasties; the Summer Palace, a grand imperial palace and a royal garden of the Qing Dynasty; Tiananmen Square, the largest city square in the world; Temple of Heaven, the largest temple compound and one of the most strictly protected and preserved cultural heritages of China; and of course, the magnificent Great Wall of China, the symbol of Ancient Chinese civilization built two millenniums ago by over one million people.

Next, you will spend two memorable nights in Xian, the largest metropolis in northwestern China, a beautiful ancient capital for over 1,060 years of 13 dynasties. During your stay, you will enjoy memorable visits to the Tomb of Emperor Qin Shihuang, where more than 7,000 life-sized Terracotta warriors and horses were unearthed; the Wild Goose Pagoda, which represents the ancient architecture of the Tang Dynasty; and the impregnable Xian City Wall, the world’s biggest city wall that remains intact today.

TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1. Arrive Beijing:
Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to Park Plaza Hotel (Superior) OR The Regent Beijing (Deluxe).

Day 2. Beijing:
Today’s city tour includes the Forbidden City, the Summer Palace, the Temple of Heaven and Tiananmen Square. (B,L)

Day 3. Beijing:
Today, visit the spectacular Mutianyu section of the Great Wall with cable car ride. After lunch at a local restaurant, return to Beijing City and enjoy a tour of its Old Quarters (Hutongs) by rickshaw, visiting a local family residence and the Bell & Drum Tower. This evening, enjoy a Peking Duck Dinner followed by a Legends of Kung Fu Show. (B,L,D)

Day 4. Beijing / Xian:
This morning, board a high-speed train for Xian. Time permitting, commence sightseeing of the City Wall and City Museum upon arrival. Chheck-in at Sofitel Xian Renmin Square (Superior) OR The Westin Xian (Deluxe). (B)

Day 5. Xian:
Full-day sightseeing includes visits to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Terracotta Warriors Museum. This evening, enjoy a Tang Dynasty dinner and cultural show. (B,L,D)

Day 6. Depart Xian:
This morning, visit the Yangling Tombs before transferring to the airport for your departure flight onward. (B)
