This unforgettable 12-day Colombia adventure features a myriad of uncommon experiences that combines an exciting mix of city, jungle, beach and food – making this a perfect holiday for families, honeymooners or the active traveler.
Your introduction to Colombia starts with Bogota. A sprawling metropolis at an altitude of nearly 9,000 feet surrounded by rugged mountains complemented with cultural charm dotted with Spanish-colonial architecture, colorful street art and quaint roadside cafes. Your Bogota visit will overload the senses featuring a tour of the city’s historic quarters by bicycle, a tantalizing night foodies tour, a visit to the exquisite Zipaquira Salt Cathedral and a hike to the sacred Guatavita Lagoon.
Next, leave civilization behind as we journey north to Colombia’s Caribbean Coast. Relax and soak up mother nature at her finest in Tayrona while staying at a beautiful beachfront resort on the pristine shores of the Caribbean Coast, exploring the natural wonders of Tayrona National Park and discovering nearby virgin beaches on a horseback. After a couple days at the beach, it’s time to hit the mountains with a close-to-nature stay at one of Minca’s rustic Eco lodges. Here, enjoy a day hike in the Sierra Nevada, take a dip at Marinka Waterfall and visit a local coffee plantation.
Last and certainly not least, we end the trip in Cartagena, a colorful Spanish-colonial walled city that sports a mix of casual beachside charm and exotic Caribbean vibes, making it a fun and fascinating place to eat, shop and play. Here, we enjoy some R&R with a foodies or rum tasting tour, a graffiti tour of one of the city’s artsy neighborhoods, plus a day out at sea to the Rosario Islands on board your own private charter.
From Bogota’s eclectic La Candelaria district to Cartegena’s bustling nightlife. Tayrona’s pristine shores to Islas Rosarios’ colorful coral reefs. Epicurean adventures to waterfall expeditions. Your most unforgettable Colombia adventure awaits.

Here, we embark on a two hour hike for spectacular views of Cundinamarca’s countryside and Guatavita Lagoon, beneath which the legends of El Dorado lie. After lunch at a local restaurant, visit Zipaquirá, an impressive Salt Cathedral crafted inside an underground salt mine. Zipaquira is considered one of the biggest religious constructions worldwide. Return to Bogota in the afternoon. (B,L)

Here, you’ll enjoy a 1-hour hike through the tropical dry forest to reach the pristine and picturesque beaches of the park. Enjoy time to relax and soak up Tayrona’s spectacular nature before heading back to your resort in the afternoon. (B)
