An off-the-beaten-path Thailand Tour – Bangkok, Mae Hong Son, Pai, Chiang Mai, Krabi
13 Days / 12 Nights – Tour Code (THS) – Private Tour – Daily departure
This extraordinary, multi-faceted Thailand tour takes you on an off-the-beaten-path adventure – from Bangkok’s revered temples to Mae Hong Son’s Long Neck Karen Hill Tribes, Pai’s tranquil countryside to Chiang Mai’s amazing elephants to Krabi’s palm fringed beaches. For those seeking that uncommon adventure, this Thailand tour will inspire you.
Your introduction to “The Land of Smiles” begins by touching down Bangkok, arguably the most exhilarating city in all of Southeast Asia, a modern metropolis of towering skyscrapers and ancient temples. Hit the city’s must-sees as well as some free time to venture out to the city’s electric night spots and tantalizing food scene. Next, travel back in time to the hills of Mae Hong Son, a small town nestled in the mountains of Northern Thailand famed for its age-old Burmese culture and fascinating Long-Neck Karen hilltribe. Stroll through one of the few remaining villages, mingle with the tribal people and to learn about their traditional way of life. Enjoy time to relax at your eco-resort’s pristine natural setting or take a hike to one of several nearby waterfalls.
Next up: Pai, a sleepy, tiny mountain town in the middle of Northern Thailand almost completely off-the-grid from the tourist path other than perhaps the backpackers’ community (shhhhh). Acclaimed as a hippy enclave, Pai surprises just about every visitor who finds her way there. It is blessed with an nostalgic atmosphere boasting a myriad of outdoorsy options and a charming night market that is a foodie destination in and of itself! Re-enter civilization as we journey south to Chiang Mai. Here, enjoy a day with the elephants at the acclaimed Patara Elephant Farm, temple-hop in the Old City, sample the region’s best culinary delights, and enjoy a fun night out at the bustling Night Bazaar. Chiang Mai offers a distinctive flavor of Thailand like nowhere else.
We top off your perfect holiday by touching down the beautiful shores of Krabi – a picturesque beach destination of stunning seascape in a laidback atmosphere in Phang Nga Bay. Kick-back and relax at your beachfront resort, soak up Ao Nang’s fun night and food scene, and feast your eyes on some of the most breathtaking seascape you’ll ever see.
