Day 2 Bali (Beach Escape)
Full day free at leisure in Paradise. (B) 

Day 3 Bali (Beach Escape)
Morning at leisure. This afternoon, enjoy sightseeing of Bali visiting the Royal Temple, Mengwi and the Monkey Forest at Sangeth, then on to the Tanah Lot, an ancient temple built atop a huge rock surrounded by the sea. (B)

Day 4 Bali (Beach Escape)
Full day free at leisure to relax and enjoy Bali’s sun & Surf. Later this afternoon, enjoy a tour of Uluwatu Temple located in the southern-most tip of Bali. One of seven sea temples that are said to form a ‘chain’ around the island, it is undoubtedly one of the region’s most venerable places of worship. One of the evening’s highlights is the traditional display of Kecak dance. The Kecak dance features up to a hundred male performers who form a circle and sway and chant to hypnotic music depicting an ancient story from the great Hindu epic, the Ramayana. King Rahwana captures Sita, the wife of Rama and the drama depicts the battle between King Rahwana and the monkey god, Hanuman. Afterward, proceed to Jimbaran Bay for a delicious Seafood Rijstaffel Dinner. (B,D)

Day 5 Bali (Beach Escape)
Full day free at leisure to enjoy the beach and resort facilities. Optional sea excursions (Tulamben snorkeling/scuba diving, Nusa Penida escape, Ocean Cruise & Nusa Lembogan, etc.) are available upon request. (B)

Day 6 Bali (Beach / Mountain)
After breakfast, we leave the beach for the sacred mountains of Ubud. Visit the artisan village of Ubud featuring the local market, Ubud Monkey Forest and Ubud Royal Palace. Afterward, continue to Tirta Empul Temple, a revered temple also known as Tampak Siring temple and famous among Balinese Hindus for its holy waters which are believed to wash away any bad spirits. Last but not least, drive to Bangli Regency to explore Tukad Cepung Waterfall, a waterfall inside a cave where one wades through a knee-high river and over a few rocks reach the viewpoint. An adventurer’s heaven! Afternoon at leisure. This evening, enjoy a romantic set dinner at your resort. (B,D)

Day 7 Bali (Mountain Retreat): Today, we'll explore the gems of Bali's interior with a choice of the following three excursions: 

Option 1 (Central Bali by Bike and on Foot): Morning drive to Kintamani. This is a stunning starting point, with views (weather permitting) over the active volcano Mount Batur, which sits alongside Lake Batur, and the surrounding landscape of Central Bali. Then, climb on your bikes and wind your way downhill through the colorful tapestry that is the Balinese countryside. You will do several stops en route, taking in key sights and interesting highlights, passing through scenic traditional Balinese villages, local temples, and lush green rice paddies. Return via the amazing rice terraces of Tegalalang and visit the town’s art market. Known locally as Pasar Seni, this colourful marketplace has a wide range of items on display including clothing, textiles, leather goods and locally designed jewelry. Wind your way back to Ubud with lunch served at a local restaurant

After lunch, begin your exploration of Ubud by foot. Pass thru the lush river valley of Tukad Wos offering views of Gunung Agung and glimpses of small village communities and rice fields. The trek begins at the beautiful Gunung Lebah Temple. Built in the 8th century, this temple has become synonymous with Ubud and Balinese history. From here, you journey north walking up onto the valley ridge between the two rivers along the Campuhan ridge, arguably the finest trek in Ubud where the views are spectacular. This place has been regarded as holy for centuries and the peace of this landscape is guaranteed to soothe. Visit a traditional Balinese compound at the countryside village to mingle with the locals before returning to your resort. (B,L)

Option 2 (Scenic Central Bali): Today’s full day tour features journeys through the interior of the island. Your excursion begins with a drive into Central Bali. Visit Ubud, a quaint artist colony in a vibrant setting lined with colorful shops, art galleries and roadside restaurants. Here enjoy a stroll around town including a visit to Ubud Palace. Continue north to Bedugul Regency, renowned for its stunning beauty and three caldera lakes (Beratan, Buyan and Tamblingan). Visit the market at Candi Kuning before arriving at the iconic Ulun Danu Temple, a 7th Century Hindu water temple located on a small jut of land within the calm waters of Lake Beratan. After lunch, journey south the spectacular rice terraces at Jatiluwih en route. A UNESCO site, these seemingly endless rice paddies offer superb vistas in all directions. Enjoy time for a leisurely hike through the terraces before returning to your resort. (B,L)

Option 3 (Experience Balinese Life): Today enjoy an opportunity to meet and interact with Balinese people and experience how families live and work together in their daily lives. We’ll visit several local villages en-route to Subak Guliang, a traditional farming village and compound in the centre of the island. Begin your local encounter by preparing breakfast in the Balinese compound. Here, enjoy breakfast here followed by time to explore the local vicinity – take a stroll through local farms, observe life of the rural Balinese people or learn more about the complexities of rice growing - from planting and harvesting through to the best methods of cooking it. Lunch will be served right in the middle of the rice field with the soft background of traditional Rindik music played on bamboo instruments.

Next visit Pura Kehan, an 11th century temple complex near the town of Bangli that is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful on the island. Thirty-eight steps lead to the Kori Agung (stone capped gateway) and an attractive courtyard that is guarded by a mythical dragon. Proceed to Penglipuran, a well ordered village surrounded by plantations and bamboo forests. A Bali Aga village, the local community still adhere to the strict rules and traditions (known as the Adat) that were laid down by their ancestors many centuries ago. Continue onto Kintamani for views of Mount Batur, an active volcano which sits alongside Lake Batur. Return to your resort and enjoy the balance of the afternoon at leisure to relax and enjoy resort facilities. (B,L)

Day 8 Ubud (Mountain Retreat)
Full day free at leisure to relax, enjoy the resort and/or explore Bali on your own. Optional tours (Balinese Cooking Lesson, Whitewater Rafting, Village Cycling, Ulun Danu Temple, etc.) are available upon request. (B)

Day 9 Depart Bali
Transfer to the airport for your flight onwards. (B)
