Private Luxury Tour Through Northern Vietnam’s Mountains & Bays
Northern Vietnam Adventure
Hanoi — Sapa — Halong & Lan Ha Bay
Places Where You'll Stay
Where Terraced Highlands Meet Emerald Bays
Discover Northern Vietnam through a journey shaped by altitude, texture, and quiet spectacle—where vibrant street life gives way to mist-veiled mountains and finally the serene expanse of emerald bays. Designed for travelers drawn to nature without sacrificing refinement, this privately guided adventure blends cultural depth with active discovery.
In Hanoi, heritage and modern rhythm coexist in compelling contrast. Glide by cyclo through the Old Quarter, encounter murals that trace the city’s evolving identity, and join an evening food walk where smoky broths, fresh herbs, and time-honored techniques reveal Vietnam’s culinary soul.
The landscape soon rises toward Sapa, where terraced hills cascade into cloud forests and mountain paths wind through ethnic minority villages. Trek alongside expert guides to communities where vivid embroidery and ancestral traditions endure, then retreat to an eco-luxury lodge overlooking the valley or a charming mountain hideaway. As dusk settles, the nostalgic cadence of an overnight train recalls an earlier era of exploration — a graceful passage into the highlands.
At sea level once more, surrender to the calm of Halong and neighboring Lan Ha Bay. Aboard an intimate luxury vessel, sail between karst towers, kayak into sheltered lagoons, and cycle to Viet Hai village, where daily life unfolds with remarkable continuity. Evenings invite unhurried dining beneath open skies as the bay softens into twilight.
Blending cinematic landscapes with meaningful cultural encounters, this privately guided Northern Vietnam journey is crafted for travelers who prefer their adventures elevated—immersive, beautifully paced, and quietly unforgettable.

TOUR ITINERARY:
Days 1–2: Hanoi – A Capital of Heritage & Street Food Soul
Your journey begins in Vietnam’s thousand-year-old capital, where lakes shimmer beside colonial boulevards, incense curls from ancient temples, and evenings unfold with the aromas of sizzling street food. Hanoi is a study in contrasts: scholarly courtyards beside bustling alleyways, French villas beside humble noodle stalls.
Day 1 (Welcome to Vietnam): Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by your private guide and chauffeured into the city. Settle into your hotel where refined service blends with Vietnamese hospitality. Dinner tonight is at leisure—perhaps a glass of wine at the hotel’s rooftop bar or your first taste of Hanoi street food just outside your door.
Day 2 (History, Culture & Flavor): Set out on a curated excursion that traces the heart of Hanoi’s culture and history. Explore world-class museums and temples, hear stories of resilience at Hoa Lo Prison, and glide through the Old Quarter’s maze of alleys on a cyclo, each corner alive with the hum of daily life that has echoed for centuries. Continue along Phùng Hưng Street, where colorful murals on old railway arches celebrate Hanoi’s heritage and modern spirit. Pause for coffee at a local café before returning to your hotel for a leisurely afternoon.
In the evening, embark on your guided culinary walk. Begin with a croissant and coffee, savor countryside-style noodle soup beneath shaded gardens, sample banh mi grilled over open flames, and sit down to bún chả at the Obama–Bourdain eatery. End the evening with smoky phở and the city’s beloved Trang Tien ice cream. (B,D)
