Day 1. Depart North America
Depart USA for Beijing via Cathay Pacific Airways, connecting in Hong Kong
Day 2. Beijing
Upon arrival, after clearing immigration and customs, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
Day 3. Beijing
Today you will visit the Great Wall at Mutianyu (with cable car ride), followed by lunch at a local restaurant. This evening, after a Peking Duck Dinner, enjoy the incredible “Legends of Kung Fu” performance. (B,L,D)
Day 4. Beijing
A full-day tour today includes visits to the Forbidden City, Summer Palace, the Temple of Heaven and Tiananmen Square. Lunch is served at a local restaurant. (B,L)
Day 5. Beijing / Xian
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Xian. Upon arrival, commence sightseeing of Yangling Museum and City Wall before transferring to your hotel. (B)
Day 6. Xian
Today’s full-day tour includes the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the City Museum and the tomb of Qin Shi Huang Di with its Terracotta army. Tonight enjoy a dinner and cultural performance at the Tang Dynasty Theater. (B,L,D)
Day 7 Xian / Lhasa
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Lhasa. Upon arrival, be met and transferred to your hotel. Balance of the day at leisure to relax adjust yourself to the high altitude (12,000 ft. above sea level). (B,D)
Day 8. Lhasa
Full day sightseeing includes the Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Square and the Summer Palace. (B,L,D)
Day 9. Lhasa
Today’s tour includes the Portala Palace, former home of the Dalai Lama, and a typical Tibetan Monastery. (B,L,D)
Day 10. Lhasa / Chengdu
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Chengdu. Upon arrival, commence sightseeing of Panda Research & Breeding Center (time permitting) before transferring to your hotel. This evening, enjoy an International Buffet Dinner at your hotel. (B,D)
Day 11. Chengdu
Enjoy an excursion to the site of Sanxingdui, located in the city of Guanghan, about 40 km from Chengdu. Sanxingdui is recognized as one of the most important ancient remains in the world for its vast size, lengthy period and enriched cultural contents. The site is believed to be an ancient Chinese city dating back 1,000 to 2,000 B.C. Return to Chengdu in the afternoon for a stroll along the quaint walking streets of Jin Li, which is lined with tea houses, restaurants and small shops. Lunch is served at a local restaurant. (B,L)
Day 12. Chengdu / Shanghai
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, be met and transferred to your hotel. Balance of the day at leisure. (B)
Day 13 Shanghai
A full-day tour takes you to Shanghai’s old town, Yu Garden, the Bund, Shanghai Museum and Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center. Tonight, enjoy a Shanghai Acrobatic Show after dinner at a local restaurant . (B,L,D)
Day 14 Shanghai
Full day free at leisure to relax, shop and explore the vibrant city of Shanghai on your own. (B)
Day 15 Return Home.
Transfer to Shanghai airport for your flight home, connecting in Hong Kong. (B)
