Day 1 Arrive Shanghai
Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel for your next three nights’ accommodation.

Day 2 Shanghai
Full day city sightseeing of Shanghai features the Old Town and its Yu Garden, Urban Planning & Exhibition Center, the Bund, Shanghai Museum and the art district of Tianzifang, famed for its Old Shanghai Shikumen houses in a laid back atmosphere with cobbled streets lined with art galleries, cafes and restaurants. Enjoy a Western Lunch at one of Shanghai’s exclusive restaurants located on the Bund. This evening, enjoy a breathtaking Shanghai Acrobatics Performance. (B,L)

Day 3 Shanghai
Enjoy a free day at leisure to relax, shop and explore the vibrant city of Shanghai. Optional excursions to Zhujiajiao and/or Suzhou are available upon request. (B)

Day 4 Shanghai / Beijing
Transfer to the airport for your flight or if you prefer, try the ultra-fast High Speed Train to Beijing . Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel for your next three nights’ accommodation. (B,L)

Day 5 Beijing
Today, enjoy a full day tour of Forbidden City, Summer Palace, Temple of Heaven and Tiananmen Square. Lunch is served at a local restaurant. This evening, enjoy one of Beijing’s specialties – The Peking Duck at one of the city’s famed restaurants. (B,L,D)

Day 6 Beijing
Today you will visit the spectacular Mutianyu section of the Great Wall with a cable car ride. After lunch at a local restaurant, return to Beijing City and take a stroll along the city’s Old Quarters (Hutongs) with residences and shophouses that date back 700 years. (B,L)

Day 7 Beijing / Xian
This morning, board a super-fast high speed Train, with speeds up to 300km/hour, for an exhilarating 4.5 hour ride for Xian. Upon arrival, commence sightseeing of Yangling Tombs, the mausoleum of the Han Dynasty Emperor Liu Qi and his Empress, dating back to 153 A.D. Its intricate relics of miniature figures and burial objects offer revelations to the strict hierarchical social structure during this period. Afterwards, visit the City Wall, one of the oldest and best preserved city walls of China, as well as one of the most comprehensive ancient defensive systems in the world. Check in to your hotel for brief rest before heading out for dinner and show at the Tang Dynasty Theatre. (B,D)

Day 8 Xian
Today’s highlight takes you to the awe-inspiring Terracotta Museum, the excavated tomb of Qin Shi Huang Di, China’s first Emperor. Discovered in 1974 by a group of farmers, this massive burial site is comprised of 7,000+ life-sized Terracotta Warriors and Horses depicting the armies of Qin Shi Huang, constructed to protect the emperor in his afterlife. Return to the city for lunch followed by a visit of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. This evening, enjoy a stroll through Grand Tang Dynasty Ever Bright City (a.k.a. The Great Tang All Day Mall), a 1.5km pedestrian street lined with buildings featuring Tang Dynasty (618 – 907) architecture, street performances, and array of of food stands and shops. (B,L) 

Day 9 Xian / Guilin
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Guilin. Upon arrival, be met and transferred to your hotel for your next 2 nights’ accommodations. Balance of the afternoon at leisure. This evening, enjoy an International Buffet Dinner at your hotel, followed by a cruise on Four Lakes and Cormorant Fishing demonstration. (B,D)

Day 10 Guilin (Li River Cruise & Yangshuo)
A full-day tour today features a boat cruise on the picturesque Li River. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant followed by sightseeing of Yangshuo’s beautiful countryside. Return to Guilin in the afternoon. (B,L)

Day 11 Guilin / Hong Kong
This morning, board a high-speed train for Hong Kong. Upon arrival, be met and transferred to your hotel by private car (driver only) for your next 3 nights’ accommodations. (B)

Day 12 Hong Kong
Enjoy a morning private walking tour via public transportation to explore Hong Kong’s Central & Western Districts. Starting with a ride on the Star Ferry, we visit Central District, the business and financial hub of Hong Kong – a glittering show of mirrored towers, multi-million dollar high-rises and designer shops. Take a tram ride up to Victoria Peak, one of Hong Kong’s must-sees, offering panoramic views of the Hong Kong Harbor. Afterwards, visit a local wet market and take a ride on the historic double-decker Tramway (time permitting) before returning to your hotel by subway (MTR). Enjoy the balance of the afternoon at leisure. (B)

Day 13 Hong Kong
A full day at leisure to relax, shop and explore Hong Kong on your own. (B)

Day 14 Return Home
Transfer to the airport for your departure flight home. (B)
