A Private China Tour of History, Nature and Cityscape

Beijing, Zhangjiajie, Shanghai

11 Days / 9 Nights – Tour Code (CNP)

Private Tour – Departs Daily

For those inspired by China’s ancient history, legendary landmarks, breathtaking natural beauty and ultra-modern cosmopolitan vibes, you may have just found that incredible journey that absolutely overloads the senses.

Meticulously crafted to showcase Hunan province’s famed Zhangjiajie’s scenic region, this tour features one of the most stunning and mesmerizing landscapes on Earth. Famed for being the backdrop in the blockbuster hit movie “Avatar”, Zhangjiajie boasts 3,000+ dramatic sandstone pillars reaching into the clouds, seemingly floating over deep ravines, tranquil streams and spectacular waterfalls. Here, we spend three unforgettable days touring the awe-inspiring Wulingyuan Nature Preserve (UNESCO World Heritage Site 1992) including a cable car ride (or trek if preferred) up to Mount Tianzi for a bird’s eye view of the fairy tale-esque landscape.

Of course, no visit to China is complete without touching down the country’s two flagship cities. Starting with Beijing, we trek the magnificent Great Wall of China, visit imperial grounds such as the Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven and Summer Palace formerly only privy the royal family, plus a tour around Beijing’s Old Quarters (Hutongs) on a rickshaw. We conclude our trip with some R&R and excitement in Shanghai. A city of cosmopolitan sophistication dotted with space-age skyscrapers, chic waterfront restaurants and eclectic art galleries, Shanghai sets the trend for the rest of the world to follow.

From millennia-old relics to breathtaking natural beauty to electric modern city life.  They’re all here.
